Cisco Certifications

Cisco recognizes Oberon, Inc. a Cisco Registered Partner, as having the necessary resources to be an Advanced Wireless LAN specialist. Oberon, Inc. has demonstrated the ability to support advanced wireless LAN planning, design, implementation, and on-going operations for customers throughout the USA. Oberon maintains Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Data Associate (CCDA) on staff.

BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International)

The deregulated telecommunications environment led to customer and industry confusion as to who was qualified to provide services and just what methods should be employed. BICSI began publishing vendor neutral manuals to provide standards based design and installation guidelines and methods accepted by the telecommunications industry. BICSI established its registration programs to provide a level of assurance to the industry and to customers that an individual is proficient in their designated area. Candidates for these registrations are required to pass rigorous exams, and keep their knowledge current through continuing education.

Registered Communications Distribution Designer

Oberon maintains an RCDD, Registered Communications Distribution Designer that has demonstrated proficiency in the design, integration, and implementation of telecommunications transport systems and related infrastructure components. Typical design services contracted for enterprise solutions include new construction or renovation designs subcontracted through archtectural engineering firms. Other markets such as educational or governmental agencies seek telecommunication-engineering services to upgrade existing wiring infrastructures require Professional certification in RCDD's.
